Looking for new Sound Card

Been using a Creative X-Fi Elite Pro (with sound dock). It has been the buggiest most unreliable sound card I've ever had from them. 3 years of continued latency problems, all due to having more than 4 gigs of ram, which they were never able to sort out. (memory leak of some kind that caused continual cracks & pops in sound playback. Was resolved after 6 months on Vista, never fixed on win 7, and now it looks like the product has finally been discontinued, without an update on the drivers since Jun of last year)

So what I'm wondering is, what other card provide good ASIO drivers and hardware, and also supports a dock for recording, etc.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
