system exclusive messages.

Post by shirreff »

Hi All.
Can any body tell me if there is any system exclusive messages to put the unit into program mode/multi mode and combi mode.
The default is combi mode when you switch it on but I would like to be able to switch modes without having to touch the unit for live use.

From the Tr-Rack Midi Implementation

(12) MODE CHANGE
[ F0,42,3g,3B,4E,0m,xx,F7 ]
m : Mode = 0:Combination, 1:Combi Edit, 2:Program,
3:Prog Edit, 4:Multi, 5:Global
Receives this message, change a mode and transmits Func=23 message.

xx can be 00

This worked when I had a Tr-Rack. I have not tried it with the Trinity Keyboard.

Enjoy, Sam

I still can't get it to work.
Control changes are enabled.
It set it to control number 12 and message number 2 then nothing.
I have tried inputing all message and control numbers from 0 10 127 and I can't get it to change from combi mode.
It is definitely receiving midi as I can do program change and play notes on it.
I can also send other controller messages.
Any I deas?
