TR OSC mute, sync editing
Sometimes when I edit a sound, I want to mute one of the oscillators, but there is no mute/solo button for oscillators.
Also I'd like to have the ability to adjust osc parameters in sync (EG timse and levels for example).

If it ain't broken, don't fix it!

To mute an OSC, go to the OSC page and turn the level down to 0.sonaroid wrote:Sometimes when I edit a sound, I want to mute one of the oscillators, but there is no mute/solo button for oscillators.

Not really sure what you mean by your second question there ... i do know you can adjust OSC parameters using the assignable knobs.

For the purposes of programming a sound, turning the level to 0 will be good enough.
You won't be able to sync edit, unless you use some other tool; the TR's not designed to allow that. For performance purposes, if you want to adjust certain parameters for both oscillators, you can use AMS to assign the same AMS source (MIDI control or physical knob/button/etc. on the TR) to the same parameter for both oscs.

Lets say I'm working on filter page of the program. In order to audition only one oscillator I have to exit filter page, go to oscillator page, memorize osc level, turn it down, go back to filter page. When I want to hear both osc. again, I have to do everything again, only this time set osc level back to its original position.
It's not the same as a simple mute, isn't it?

It has the same effect as muting, not the same number of steps to do so.
You could always try routing each oscillator to its own output by panning one hard left and the other hard right, and use an external mixer or other device to 'mute' one oscillator and not the other.

Sorry I didn't think of that sooner! It's a useful trick for also doing things like getting two distinct mono channels out of something with only a stereo pair of outputs.
The one catch, in general, is that stereo effects will of course put both sounds on both the left and right channels. That doesn't have to apply here though, since you can go to the IFX bus and route each oscillator directly to distinct outputs, skipping effects altogether.
