DEMO NEW JS MUSICAL RESOURCES FOR KORG PA500/ PA800/PA-2X

Post by johnsmies »

hello,

After more than two months of tweaking and programming on my new Korg PA500 I am proud and pleased to offer you a link to a DEMO that I have made of a fair number of PERFORMANCES, that should illustrate to PA owners and generally interested musicians, what the PA500 can achieve musically after all these efforts.

Please not that you can download the complete DEMO for free from Rapidshare( click on Free User and proceed from there.) The demo is 27 minutes long and on average takes about 4 to 5 minutes to download depending on your internet connection.Naturally you should listen to it either through decent headphones or through a good hifi amplification system to do credit to its true sound.

Please note that the Demo only contains about 15% of what you eventually will get into your keyboard, that is more than 200 new and/or altered PERFORMANCES, 100 extra internal styles and 64 user styles , as well as some extra sounds and pads.

From today on people playing the Korg PA500 or PA500Muzikant can order the entire Musical Resources by mailing to:
pasounds@zeelandnet.nl

Those owning the PA800 and PA-2X will have to be patient a little as they differ slightly in structure, hence these resources have to be adapted to fit these two PA keyboards as well. I will keep you posted about the progress.

All your comments on the demo will be welcome here, orders please through the email address mentioned above.

the link to download the demo:

Hi John

I'm downloading the MP3 right now.

Just a quick question - have you changed the location of styles in the SDD? If so this will mess up the SONGBOOK (or have you also created a new SONGBOOK?)
Will you update your data if/when we get new OS releases which require Resources changes?
order the entire Musical Resources by mailing to
What OS is this Resources file compatible with? Buyers will need to know this.

Just curious

Cheers

Pete :D

hello Pete,

I have not changed or cut in the factory style presets in anyway,
nor have I changed anything in the Songbook. So they remain exactly
the way they were. Important to note !

Some folks have mailed me that the link to the complete DEMO might be a bit steep for some computer connections, so if you want you can also listen to them in five parts. Note however that as a Free User with Rapidshare, you have to wait for ten minutes once you have downloaded a demo, before you can download a new one. Here are the links to the five seperate parts of the long DEMO. (......and the long demo includes a few more examples in all............)

Hi Korgies,

I've already listened to the demo, and I must say it sounds great.

It gives a new dimension to the Pa500 and Pa 500 Musikant.
We only have to wait untill John has finished his great work so We can use it
also in the 800 and Pa2.

Big compliments again, and keep on going.

Ron.

Hi,

I bought these performances today from John and they sound awesome. It is like having a second keyboard. I really recommend these performances to anyone with a Korg PA500 or Musikant. Great stuff.

Hi John
"..100 extra internal styles .."
Maybe my question wasn't clear....

In view of your statement above, I assume your product is in the form of a "Resources" file? (i.e. overwrites all factory data)

If not, how do you supply these "internal styles"? or are you referring to USER FAVORITE BANKs?

Cheers

Thank you Bob.

I guess the most unbelievable thing about it is that you can have ALL the goodies in your Korg PA keyboard (for now only the standard version and the Muzikant) by installing an 8MB file that I will send as an attachment to those ordering.
Considering the amount of work that I have done, and knowing what you get I simply have to rely on fellow musicians to apply the software for their own personal use . As to cost, I am asking a contribution of 50 euros. (approx.75 dollars)

Sorry Pete, I overlooked your question here.
You are correct in assuming that it is in the form of a Resources File.

First and foremost my work is all about PERFORMANCES, PERFORMANCES
that is the bulk of my efforts and that is what you hear in the demo.

But in the process I have added approx. 100 styles to the factory memory which has a substantial number of " empty slots ". So my resources do fill up the factory presets but leave the actual factory styles UNTOUCHED.

Hope this answers your question ?
