Hey there, new to the forum and had some questions. First off, when I plug an audio source into the Microkorg to run through the filter etc., I can only hear audio when I hold down a key. Is there a way to bypass this and keep my hands off the keyboard? I looked through the manual but could't find something about this.
Secondly, is there any risk of damage by overloading the audio input volume? My gut tells me that it's safe to do and just creates distortion (which is what I'm doing intentionally), but I want to make sure I don't damage anything.

I'm fairly sure you can damage the input by driving it. But I've never really looked into it.
With regards to the constant-ness, I always used to turn the arpeggiator on, 100% gate, and latch it. increase the 'release' level if you have to to smoothe it out, and make sure the EG retrigger parameter is set to off.

Not an elegant solution, I know ...
Seems like a large rubber band (or other physical "fastener" of some sort) would work, in a pinch ... e-tape?
The large-wide rubber-band would stretch all the way around the unit (under the unit and around the back ... over the top and centered on the key you want to hold down) ... stupid ... for sure ... but ... whatever works !

So I would recommend you put the arpeggiator on trigger mode and push down at least four notes ( Or about twenty notes - thats more fun
