Kpro & KP3 - tipps and tricks

Post by CFC »

I recently bought a KP3 in addition to my KPro and for me it seems these two pieces of gear are designed for each other.
Owning the KPro made me almost instantly want a KP3...good work, Korg.
Now that I have hooked them up I am wondering what tricks and combinations you guys are using to get the absolute best out of this beast combination.

The additional 4 Banks and the overdub function of the KP3 alone makes this gearcombo oh so enjoyable.
Sample Slicing and the Loop FX can easily generate whole new beat patterns...I still feel like there is a lot more to experience.

Beardyman is lots of inspiration for KP3 madness.

Beardyman is the s**t! The KoPro and KP go together like peanut butter and jelly. You can get some really nice stuff with the filters and delays. My setup goes mic and kaossilator into the 2 inputs on the KoPro into KP2 into KPmini into KP3. You can never have enough Kaoss!

Thx for the MIDI Cable advice! Will try it out as soon as possible.
I already read about the broken beats trick and tried it out as soon as I got my Kpro. This one is really great!
I hope there are still some serious users of the Kpro coming to find out more hints and tricks.

It's a great portable device and the Kpro & KP3 fit perfectly in one notebook bag so you can bring em everywhere you want.

Beardyman indeed is the s**t! :) Got some great ideads out of his videos!
