Microkorg XL - Possible volume/output problem

Post by rcazzy »

Recently, using my XL, I've noticed the sound/volume has dropped so much that to play it through a PA and mixer I have to push the volume on the XL to full and the volume out on the mixer over the 0 level, and when it gets to a usable volume, there is too much noise coming from the XL.

The mixer I was using works 100% fine as I've used it with the XL and X50 before. Also, the sound is way too low for headphones and recording without noise ruining the recordings.

Anyone able to help or have any ideas what is wrong?

How do you have it hooked up to the mixer, exactly? What cables, what jacks, what mixer, etc.....
