Click on the Download Tab. Scroll down to:
EXB MOSS Z-1 & TRINITY SOLO CONVERTED FILES
Download and run the exe (or use an unzipper).
There are 5 banks of 128 programs each
There's also:
Free DrewMOSS soundset
Tim Edwards' Bank of MOSS Sounds
MOSS ELP Lead
There's also a TON of MOSS patches here on the TritonExtreme section of the KorgForums download area: http://www.korgforums.com/?show=1
One file alone contains 1200 patches converted from the Nord Lead for the EXB-MOSS.
That should keep you busy for a while!

As a french Canadian friend of mine from Montreal used to say: "That's the best thing since smoked meat, mon frere." I think he meant BBQ, but it kinda got lost in the translation. Yes, MOSS is smokin, finger-lickin, good.
One of the reasons the MOSS board is so expensive is that the bowed & plucked string, and reed models are like falafels filled with opium to keyboardists who play oriental instruments. I'm sure there's some Balkan, Turkish, or other keyboardists that would sell their sister to get a MOSS board. (just kidding
, I hope
) The EXB-MOSS board has been increasing in value over the last 5 years, which is a good indication of its continuing value.

MOSS has a very long history with Korg, as the technology was part of the original OASYS keyboard announced in 1995 but not released. The technology was moved specifically for doing solo lead instruments on the Prophecy then to the Trinity+SOLO-Tri board, then made polyphonic from 12-18 voices on the Z1, then moved to the Trinity+MOSS-Tri board and EXB-MOSS for the Tritons and Karma. A newly redesigned OASYS was finally released in 2005. So MOSS is part of the OASYS family. For some odd reason, Korg chose not to include MOSS as an option for the M3 EDS or Radias MMT products, so there is nothing similar on them that can do the MOSS and OASYS physical model synthesis.

I had a friend over who plays sax and he actually brought it with him. we compared it to the moss sounds and it was pretty impressive. I need to learn how to edit the moss programs better though
