Help Opening MonoPoly Korg USA Expansion Bank.mp4bank

Post by bakolito »

Hi!

Recently I downloaded a soundbank pack from Korg es website. The MS20 and PolySix worked just fine, but I wasn´t able to open or charge the MonoPoly set.I noticed the MonoPoly set have a different file extension .mp4bank .I tried from Files, from the patch browser and it didn´t worked.I´m sure this is covered somewhere in the manual, sadly enough I suffer from a severe and terminal case of manual-phobia.
Can somebody help me,please?

In the GUI (graphical user interface), click "File" (next to "Compare"). You'll see that you now have LOAD, SAVE and CANCEL listed below the name of your current patch. Click on LOAD and select "Bank". You should now be able to load up the expansion bank.

Hope you enjoy the sounds - a lot of time went into them! :)

I don't have this on my GUI

Post by doriginal »

under file I have:

Load Bank
Save Bank

Load Program
Save Program

Quit

I have Korg Legacy Collection - Analog Edition 2007 Ver. 1.2.3
Mono/Poly Ver. 1.0.2

Optimized for SSE2 Instruction Set.

Let me know if you need anything else to tell me where this is?

Thanks,

I found it. For anybody that reads this and finds the same issue. Look to the bottom of the GUI.

Thanks to DORIGINAL for asking and BAWARD for answering, I had the same issue and was glad to see a solution.

Here is a link to the refills. . .

I (for TWO) appreciate the work that went not only into the sounds, but the entire KLC. The virtual MonoPoly is a fantastic modernization of the best analog synth ever created. (histocial anecdote - I bought my MP4 in 1984 and have cherished it like a newborn since the day I brought it home.) Having both the real and virtual synths is a dream.
