I've been doing independent music for a few years now, and you can get my albums on my bandcamp site here:

I have a Korg X3 and a microKORG that handle nearly all of my synthesis duties (drums and a few samples from Reason), and I'm very much a Korg fanboy. This forum's helped me out a few times -- a question I posted here about MIDI control codes directly helped me get my mK to behave on the song "Two Pennies for the Ferryman".
Anyway, I've decided that I'd like to get my stuff up online on places like iTunes and Amazon's MP3 market, using CD Baby as the distributor. To try and cover the costs of this, I've set up a Kickstarter project:

For those that don't know, Kickstarter is a service that lets you do a low-risk fundraiser, with all kinds of special rewards and stuff. If I don't make my goal by the deadline, nobody gets charged a cent and the whole thing goes away like it never happened. If I do make the goal, you get all kinds of neat extra stuff and I get to put my music out onto commercial services. It's a great idea that I'd like to see succeed.

Just wanted to update this old, dusty post: the Kickstarter project was a roaring success, and the first two Psycliq albums are now available on iTunes, Amazon, Napster, Rhapsode, eMusic, and a ton of other places. Since that time, I've also set up http://www.psycliq.com/ as well.
I'm currently working on a third album, due to be out sometime towards the end of summer, and I've also released an online-only collection of cover songs at http://music.psycliq.com/. Needless to say, I highly recommend both Kickstarter and Bandcamp for all of you independent musicians out there.
