If and when they make a new electribe it's probably going to suck. It will be made of cheap plastic, many of the best features will be dropped, and they'll add useless features that nobody wants while telling us "they listened"

honestly.. while for the most part I tend to agree with what you're saying, that doesn't really sound like Korg... except maybe in the case of the microkorg xl

Good point. It's quite possible that Korg could no longer get their hands on the on-board SmartMedia components.

Personally, I think this is a good thing. Means that the Electribes have a longer life-span and I'll have more chance of getting hold of one if my current unit breaks down.
