Hi,
I recently got an Axiom 49 midi controller and I was wondering how I can use it with my Triton Le. I was able to connect the two keyboards and produce sounds, but I was only able to play the same sound through both keyboards. Is there a way I can set up the Axiom and Triton so that I can play separate sounds on each? I will use the Triton as a sound generator, but I would like to play a different sound on the Axiom. For example, is it possible to have an "acoustic piano" sound on the Triton and a "dynamic strings" sound on the Axiom at the same time?

You can do this in Combi mode.
For example, set the Axiom (great keyboard by the way!) to transmit on MIDI channel 2 or 16 or something else.
In Combi mode, set up an unused timbre to respond to the same channel (set its status to INT). Then set up the sound you want to use in that combi from the other keyboard to that timbre.
I use this all the time. It helps avoid having to change combis when playing live, thus avoiding the silence gap between combi changes.

connecting my MIDI controller to Triton Le (Problems)
I'm trying to connect my M - AUDIO 61es midi controller to my triton le, but as soon as i connect the MIDI cable to the IN port on my triton it freezes up. I'm unable to change patches, modes, move to global, even the tempo flashing light freezes. Yet as soon as i remove the MIDI cable from the triton or i switch off the midi controller it starts working again! Can anyone help please as the two can't seem to work together
