Someone's shouting my name - i must have done something right for a change !
I just pointed out that when wiring an EC5 DIN plug, that the common 0v pin is NOT actaully the one in centre of the plug, it's the one at 12-0-clock.
The other five remaining pins at 8, 10, 2 and 4 o-clock, plus the one in the centre are the five momentary normally open switches.
That's all it was, you can knock up a switch box to sit on top of your PA1X / 2X for about $20 instead of buying an EC5. I'm glad I was able to help.
