D1600: HELP!!

Post by maxwellatkins »

Hi. I do a lot of live recording onto my KORG D1600 and I usually bounce the completed shows to CDR. But the last show I did ran 97 minutes in length, which is too large to fit onto a CDR.

Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a way I can cut the show into two separate files at the halfway point or is there another way I can get the data off of the console to be usable in a computer?

HELP!! I'm already late in giving this performance to the band!

Appearently you need scsi cable to connect to a dos (fat 32) drive. Is there a way to get the cd written in data instead of music?

that's what i was wondering. i don't even know what an SCSI or fat32 or dos is, much less how to do anything with it.

Try separating the tracks and recording them one at a time, or cut the last 10 min and rebuild it in your daw.
