Yeah have the MX one ordered... not sure really what the point is though as I have the previous model without the SD version. Isnt there a limit to the number of patterns on a SD card anyways... Or is the sky the limit when it comes to 32GB.

I may possibly get a 4th Electribe.. but I need to grow an extra set of arms and get a second xone 92 mixer to make it worthwhile

So how's it working for you?

Have you done any sampling with it? Because I just got mine (the SD) and I find the manual is just plain wrong. I haven't been able to sample anything yet. The manual is really awful and I'm hoping someone here knows what one is supposed to do.

I'm quite experienced with synths , grooveboxes, samplers, and manuals, and this one just doesn't get it although I like the ESX-SD itself. It'll be great when I know how to use it better.

Thanks for any input anyone may provide

Yeah, lots of us do, but if you don't say what you did and what happened then it's hard to help. The manual worked for me, so it's not obvious how to help you.

My bad. Getting old and easily confused.

Where the manual said AUDIO IN THRU I thought they meant the little "Audio In" button in the lower right hand corner. Dumb ass me.

And where it tells us to press SAMPLE I was pressing SAMPLING in the transport section. Duh...

But they could have labeled the Sampling button REC as it's referred to in the book. Oh well, I'll get used to it now that I know.

Have installed several new samples this morning from old synths and VSTs and will have a totally customized ESX in a few weeks. I'm gonna look see if there's a place here to post tracks or patterns.

Much obliged to you folks that offered responses. This looks like a great forum.
