Does the LE have Prophecy sounds?

Post by tparks69 »

I read somewhere that the Korg Trinity Pro came with all the Korg Prophecy sounds... does anyone know if these sounds were retained in the Triton series? Particularly in the LE? Thanks.

No.

The Trinity had an optional expansion board called EXB-MOSS (polyphonic, based on the Z1), and another expansion board called EXB-SOLO (monophonic, based on the Prophecy).

There was later an EXB-MOSS available for the Triton, Triton Studio, Triton Extreme, and Karma Workstation.

The LE, TR, X50, MicroX, etc. do not have a slot for the EXB-MOSS expansion board.
You get what you pay for in the cheaper models...

So the 'sounds' were never really 'built in' or 'came with it', however the synthesis engine (actual oscillators and filters and routings etc) were available on an expansion card.
