pre-upgrade SEQ songs? any fix for this yet?

Post by spprw »

I have a few songs that I really liked that I made in sequencer mode before upgrading to Xpanded. Now they're a mess of instruments that have no business playing together. Has there been any way to remedy this? any solutions from Korg at all? or, was there a list of the specific program numbers for each instrument, and what the instruments' NEW program numbers are after the upgrade?

if i remember well, within the OS2.0.0 update guide there was also a voice list with old position and new position of program. try to look in korg.com/m3 support page if it's still there do download.

otherwise, if you need to still work upon those songs, reload the program/combi that you have before the upgrade. having the .PCG file it is extremely easy to do.

cool. thanks for that I'll check it out.

I was trying to do this manually yesterday by opening up two pdf files next to each other: one with the old lineup of programs/instruments and one with the new arrangement.

most sounded as they were intended when I made them pre-xpansion, but have any of the actual instrument sounds that were on the m3 prior to the upgrade CHANGED for the upgraded version?
