Am I right thinking that Kaossilator Pro is useless for ...

... live improvisation?

In the manual I found such fragment:
For several seconds immediately after record-
ing, it won’t be possible to resume playback from a
state where all banks are stopped. Please wait until
the LOOP RECORDER BANK button has stopped
blinking before you attempt to play back
Does it mean that:
1. I record some external audio (let's say guitar riff)
2. Hit the Looper Bank to end recording
3. Wait several seconds before the recorded phrase resumes its playback?

In KP3 and KO it doesn't work like that - recorded phrase is played immediately after recording, so i can constantly overdub new layers of audio. And everything (more or less) stays in sync.

Thanks in advance for clearing this up for me.

The recorded loops play back immediately. As you would expect.

I think that excerpt from the manual is just referring to any times that you might actually stop the playback straight after recording.

playback will begin immediately. the blinking light refers to using certain functions of that loop. for example you will not be able to use shift/the loop bank you recorded for beat repeating until the light stops blinking
