Pitch Bender Issue

Post by neemz »

Hey guys,

I have a Pa800 and the pitch bender's spring doesn't pull the handle back in to its nutral position which I have heard is one of the common issues with this keyboard
I was wondering where I can get a new one for it?
would other ones work with it? something like the Triton's or other Korg models and if yes where do I get them?

Thanks guys

Hi Nima,

According to my PA800 Service Manual, the part number for the joystick is FDD0001019. The source for part here in the USA is http://www.partsisparts.net . You could confirm that by contacting them via e-mail. Hope this helps.

You don't have to buy a joystick because in most cases when you open up the keyboard usually the spring comes out of place and you just have to push it back in place, so check it out before you buy a new one.

Thanks man
But I have already opened it and nothing was out of place. the thing is it feels like the spring has passed its cycle test on (+) side cuz the (-) part is just fine.
it feels like something is stuck in it and doesn't let the spring work freely but nothing was in it either. its disappointing how they have put springs with such short life cycle.

Thanks though

My Joystick is giving me trouble. I want to replace it, I would to know the exact partnumber of the Joystick of Korg PA500 before I place an order for the part.

If anyone has an idea on this part, kindly confirm if its fdd0001019.

All favours extended are highly appreciated.
