Pardon my ignorance on the details - I stumbled here while doing a KLM search for parts and didn't get a chance to read all the posts - is the classic or extreme the one w/ the problem?

Posted a reply, but it doesn't seem to be showing up - i any case, regarding this problem: - I asked if the problem piece was your classic or extreme - I've got a number of screens, most of the classics are known quantities (smashed/scratched screens, non-responsive touchfilm, etc.) which can be ripped for parts, the extreme screens are less sure because I can't find my good MB's for them yet, but probably work, spares on them also, I'm sure I have good ones and others that can be dismantled for parts - so if you decide to buy parts let me know, I'll see if I can find a non-volatile way to get them to you at a much better price than anyone else.

If anyone having problems just with LAMP and displej is working, but without background light, there is simple temporary solution.

Just turn ur keyboard on, and u only need ur cellphone with flash. Only thing u have to do is to flash ur display from 20-30cm and lamp will inmidiately turn on. Stupid but working

I tryed this few times and always workinhg, without this, i have to wait background light more than 15 minutes.

other solution is to take out CCFL lamp and put 9 SMD-s and tie on inverter for ccfl lamp and it will light more better than factory light. And its cheep.
