Hundreds of patches for the M50 (paying them)

Post by akmon »

I´ve seen this web, and I would like to know If has anybody bought these banks? Is it worth it? You can hear a demo.

http://www.pro-rec.com/M50.html

As you only download the files, the other option is that a few of us who are interested, the cost will decrease considerably, cause you can transfer the files by email.

Haven't got these sounds but the demo sounds good.

Just a word of advice however, what you're suggesting seems to break pro-rec's copyright as only the person buying the sounds is licensed to use it. It's like sharing an album you have bought - it is illegal!

It seems that for the money, you would be better off buying the Karma software and getting access to Karma then just getting these sounds without Karma...As well as the extra chord buttons you get with the Karma package you get with that package.

Whatever you do with those sounds from pro-rec, just do not be deceived with "Akai CD's for M50", because M50 can not read Akai or any other format, because it has no sampler. They just copied the M3 page to M50 and forgot to delete the CD part.

I don´t want to use karma with M50 because it involves using laptop.

So, is there any reason at all to buy these sounds? Are they all programmed with Karma in mind?

Well I sure hope they're better with sound design than with web design...
