Trying to figure this out.
Might be a good list for the other pad assignments. However, it seems that the pads are not 'mix&match' like karma is; they seem fixed to the particular program/combo.
Thanks!
what key are the pads in, in jazzy singers?

in stock form, the pads are assigned particular chords.
In researching this, I discovered that the assignment of chords, or even keys isn't done by highlighting a particular 'place' on the note listing for a pad and pressing a key, but you have to use the wheel to select the note; lame.
So, setting up your own chords becomes quite a chore.
I don't know if CHORD ASSIGN can be 'pushed' onto a pad; I didn't see that as an option.
anyway, still don't know what key they're in. the combi is i-c027

OK, if you don't have the manualsasori wrote:in stock form, the pads are assigned particular chords.

I. Simple method
1) Press CHORD ASSIGN.
2) Play a chord on the keyboard (velocity matters).
3) Push the required Pad.
That's all. From now on the Pad plays your new chord. Important: Don't forget to save/overwrite your Program or Combi.
II. Detailed method
1) Open the Pads tab on the screen.
2) This shows the notes assigned to the 8 Pads. Highlight the note/value you want to modify.
3a) Change the letter/number with the DIAL, or
3b) hold ENTER while playing the required key on the keyboard (velocity matters).
That's all. Again: don't forget to save your work at the end.
"Jazzy Singers" Combi: I don't know by heart. Maybe I will check it later. You can reverse engineering the jazz chords from the values of the Pad screen.
