Hello Niranjan,

I liked youre choices but didn't found much difference in the songs.

What I thought is something like the following songs:

1 - Ghazal - Chandi jaisa rang
2 - Twist - Aaj kal tere mere pyaar ke
3 - Ballad - Suraj huwa madham
4 - Bhangra - Zor ka Jhatka
5 - Dance - Tose Pyaar Karte (remix) or Munni badnaam (remix)
6 - Classic - Mere hamsufar from Guru

I hope you understand what I am saying.
I am not making a big piont off it but please let's get started asap.

Music is a universal language, my friend. Why should it matter who creates it? Have you listened to what Sam has created?

So many people have been asking for Indian styles. This activity is initiated just for this reason. There is no obligation to join this activity. If the interest is low, we may not get anywhere. After we get a decent song selection, we will get into additional details of the project. There are still details to work out. Feel like joining? There is no obligation, yet.

cheers,
Best Regards,

No one is asking you to pay for it.....It was a discussion for people to decide if they want to join in.....payment part was later .....

That comment was rude and stereotyping a person by country is not right.you are saying that so foolishly--- something like why music directors in bollywood use hiphop style music that music isn't even completely Indian....

Dude...music has no boundaries....its a language for love...
It just shows how ignorrent you are asking such questions after listening to the demo Sam did...
this post was to get opinion from other Bollywood music player if they would be interested in getting some custom made styles.
It was nice of Sam to get involved and share his talent but i guess it is difficult for you to understand...

Hi Sanjay,
would you like to give a list of songs that you might be interested. This post was for people to give their opinion and list of songs so that we can all discuss and short list some good ones.
Just because everyone has a different taste and style for music
regards,
Niranjan

yes! I'm very interested to join your project. Are those demos posted on Soundclick made for PA800? I know the songs, but they sound very much like the original movie sound track. I wanted to know for sure if their not made for a karaoke machine. Would you please confirm that for me? My friends might be interested to join as well. Have you guys already agreed upon a list of songs? If you're still deciding , then can we add some to your selection? I have an embarrassing long list of song in my youtube favorite list. Here's a very small list.

We don't mind paying a reasonable price for safe and good quality styles and midi files. Please let me know if these songs could be played on a PA800. Thank you

Aisha,

I listened very carefull at youre chosen songs.
What I can say about that is that you can play the most songs with the buildin rythms (waltz, hiphop, dance etc).
For some turkisch and indian songs I use the addon rythms from the pakorg site.
This is subject is about the indian rythms that rear and unique.

Have fun I play most of my indian songs on the buildin rythms.

Dear Sanjai,
That's fair enough. I like the idea of producing rare indian rhythms. I sent the link of this subject to a few fellow indian friends, and they're also interested in contributing. For the time being, we will go ahead and work with Sam on the side to get the ones that you guys are not interested on our own. We decided to start this off with one slow and one dance song. We will choose more songs only if we find the results satisfactory. The songs are:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vr6swr0_ ... re=channel
and
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuCFRaFWjwY&NR=1

We will contribute to your group effort, but I think it would be very hard to come up with a list that could please everybody. Thank you

Dear Friends,

I am a musician and composer living in Sydney (Australia). As part of various projects and "live" performances, I have created many Indian styles (more of the Bollywood kind).

Please see my site: http://www.freewebs.com/avijitsarkar/
Just click on the "KORG PA800 Indian Styles" link on the left.

As you will see, these are more hybrid rhythms as is typical of many Bollywood songs.

Cheers.

Hello Avijit,

I listened to youre beats don't get upset but it's not as bright and well as I was expecting.
Maybe it's better that you use the Indian drumkit from Nadeem/Shaheed the Dholak, Tabla are really amazing.
I think we have to ask Nedim to upload this, he was the maker so...

! Nedim could please upload that indian drumkit so that's available to the korg indian susaity.

I also think it's useful for Niranjan and Sam as well.

Best Regards,
Sanjai
