Does anyone know how to get the R3 synth software to work at the same time as midi control in acid pro. If I open acid up first I can get acid midi to control the synth but the R3 software midi fails so I can't manipulate the sounds, but if I open the R3 software up first that works ok but acid midi does'nt work and complains of being out of memory.
I can't get the midi to work in both apps at the same time.
Any Ideas?

I remember I had the same problem with my R3 connected to Cubase 4.
What your discribing is like depending on what piece of software you load up first, it will nick the driver say for cubase and therefore when you load up R3 editor, it won't connect as the driver is already in use with another app!
For some reason this happened on my sony viao xp laptop.
Fortunately I have 2 other laptops with window7 on and with the lastest usb driver for the R3, both apps (R3 editor/Librarian and Cusbase 4) run smoothly and the same time sharing the same driver so it can be done!

solved
Hi I have managed to sort it with a bit of searching around the forum. I found a post by Demitri I think apologies if the spelling is wrong.
I had to reinstall the R3 driver because I had changed the USB slot I was plugged into, then after a bit of swapping in's and out's I got it woking
Thanks
