Start OSAM ANEW
Foolish thoughts? ?
but I would LOVE to see the OSAM re-started perhaps with different rules and plans ...? ? ?
Consider it friends It served WELL for several years, you know and I believe it still may do so!!!!
My Regards, ellll (John)

I would definately want to go again! even if I only actually put four songs in, I need the excuse to start writing and recording properly again...
It is actually quite motivating.

Hi Friends,
Seeing people interested is a GOOD thing indeed and I am for it again...
Remember the problem was, VERY few of us were posting anything (One could post just a few bars and be within the guidelines. remember) and that was NOT good for any of us...Just post a few bars of of SOMETHING .....
Also few indeed, were listening to others offerings and making at least a brief comment... Its needed to help each one feel a part of the whole enterprise and it is MOST helpful if the comments are sincere. Even so ...just a "like the song" is better than not showing your own interest.
The issues were pretty bad, and the leadership, rightfully, got rather annoyed and I don't blame them. If another could be worked out I will sign but CANNOT be a monitor or leader. That would need to be approved with the Korg Forum owners/leadership as well, so perhaps some one will remember this material and contact Sharp or another to get some idea if it is even possible now.
I say it is and I will participate; but ... you know, I believe I agree pretty strongly with the comment of Dee that we should maybe do a song BI-Monthly; Several always had problems with 12 a year
My regards and MY SUPPORT...!!!!!!
If Someone !! can roll this out, I will be here..
Best Regards.... Johnny - John - Ellll

Hi folks.
Sorry I haven't posted for a while, life is a little busy these days.
Although I'm not gonna be able to join in, I do hope you're able to get it going, it's a positive thing, I have a couple CDs thanks to the several times I did participate, so it's definitely worth while.
Good luck to you all.
Regards,

Dear Friends,
I have found others ARE posting at other forums in many places..., and it will cut back our own members here.
I like it here, as I am not interested in selling, promoting myself, or being heard by people of influence or by larger groups, so I really fit the profile for this more"localized" .., at least in membership .., OSAM.
Even so I won't be asking for any moderator position or accepting same. I simply DON'T have the needed ability and I also travel some limiting my time.
HOWEVER!! I WILL post and be a part with enthusiasm!!! ..., and suggest again the idea of Bi-Monthly being a solution for us, as some of those who left before, did so as it was too difficult for them to do one a month.
The SIX songs in a year seems for them, more reasonable, and some might return with the lesser requirement!!!
PLEASE Friends, consider this carefully, and SOMEONE step up that has the ability and reorganize us and help put it back together!!!
My Regards ALWAYS ..., and to DEE for the bi-monthly suggestion, and To George and other who helped in moderating, and to Sharp for first allowing this great OSAM.. long ago!!!

I would be more than happy to help manage it.
Provided that we can get at least three or four people interested, I think it is worth doing. We can even aim to start in Jan or probably Feb by now.
It would be nice if KorgForums could have a bit more of a creative community and I always thought that OSAM was a major driving force behind that.
If you're serious about it then post here and let me know. Then I'll PM Sharp and look into it (or something along those lines). Provided no-one objects to it.
