Everything excluding the drums, harp (and of course samples) was made on the R3.
Current: MS-20 Mini, Minilogue, SY77

I like the concept, since I'm a Bioshock fan too.

But for dubstep your track is missing a lot of the sub-bass, and the wobble bass isn't wobbling much.

For comparison, check out this:

Notice how much more is going on below 120Hz? The wobble bass is more characteristic of dubstep too, but I think it could have a lot more sub-bass. Try the SubOSC waveshapes in the Amp section. You can also tune the osc down several octaves, then use High Pass Filter 2 in series to tone down the sub-bass, while using Filter 1 to do the wobble.

well I did have an additional sine/triangle based timbre with the wobble an octave lower, but for some reason even with heavy EQ it didn't come out much on the recording.

but yes, I'm not satisified with my bass or the recordings length.

also I'm curious, how have your wobbles been? it seems to me that the R3 isn't so great at generating wobbles, any softsynth ideas?

I think my next dubstep I'm also going to use a minimalist wobble approach, and use some increased effects and sound variance. I think I'll make my own Logic drum kit with some effects ill make on my r3 and drum samples. I'm not a fan of just a long line of wobbles like what I had.

I've used Massive to do wobble bass on softsynth. There's some good examples on Youtube to follow for wobbles on Massive. Then I translate the Massive patch to the R3 and I get pretty much the same results.

well I've done what's in the tutorial before, and the wobbles.. well they're wobbles, but they don't have the right feel, they always feel very amateur.

I think most of the sound comes from getting the right combination of harmonics to enhance in the wave, and then carefully set the filter characteristics for the wobble itself: the frequency range for the filter (known as the Q-width), the center point, resonance amount, and the filter curve(something between LPF12 & LPF24). The video I posted helps show how the timbre changes when tweeking these parameters.

Have you tried my wobble bass that's posted in the download section?

For softsynth's I use Rob Papen's Albino 3 mainly. It is really great at producing a wobble. Also Predator and Toxic have some nice wobbling effects as well.
Korg R3, Roland SH-201, Roland MC-909, Novation Mininova, Novation Impulse 49, Korg EMX, and a bunch of VSTi's
