brand new 2011 software for KORG PA arranger keyboards

Those of you familiar with me won’t be surprised to learn that after having swapped the Korg PA-500 for the PA-500Musikant two months ago I have now completed two months programming , resulting in a complete new set of Musical Resources. Originally made on and for the PA-500Musikant these Resources have recently been adapted for use in both the standard PA-500, as well as the PA-800 and PA=2X with big, big thanks to Willem Hersbach for doing a great job here.

After having listened to the German 3.0 update for the PA-500Musikant I thought there wasroom for improvement so to cut a long story short I simply re-programmed the entire PERFORMANCES, 256 in all. Also the styles, both internal and user, are a new mixture and thrown into the bargain are some
great user sounds. All in all a great way to meet with a new challenge for your PA arranger keyboard. And though there is no accounting for tastes I am sure whatever yours , there will be something for your liking….

Although I have spent over 60 hours programming I will offer all of my efforts
for free, hoping nonetheless that anyone pleased with the results will be willing to throw in a small donation to keep my programming spirits up !

If you want the software simply send a mail requesting the BKP file for your Korg PA keyboard. (Please specify which PA keyboard you have got )
You will receive the BKP file as well as a handy concise manual of how to install as well as how to get the best out of my programming.
Of course all of your comments will be welcomed here or on any other Korg Forum.

And as no one has it exactly the way I programmed it, however much you may like or dislike it, I would call it "brand new".

Although I appreciate your efforts on what you've done, I think the TITLE of this topic is wrong.

This is not a software program!

But rather SOUND RESOURCES.

first off, I want to encourage anybody who's interested in new performances to contact John, because he has worked on similar projects before, and people left positive responses/comments..etc.

John, please dont' get me wrong. My question wasn't about the quality of your work. Like I said I've seen people saying good things about your programming before. My question was about the type or categorey of work you placed your project under. And that's why I highlighted the word software. That's all there's to it.

Yes I have to agree with John.

Come on fellas, he has spent countless hours programming this stuff, and is very VERY kindly offering it to all, and not even demanding a payment. He is ASKING for a small donation only, if the end user feels that is justified.

That you guys are being so pedantic about terminology is , bluntly, VERY disappointing and mean-spirited.

Rather, if you are not interested, then say nothing at all, or post something positive.

John is a great guy, as a programmer i dont know, havent tried his stuff nor
i need something like that...i know him for a while...but to say Software is
kinda missleading, the proper name shoud be ReTweaked Performances.
And yes, it is very missleading.

Okay, I have now had a chance to go through this data.

Very impressive John

I can see a LOT of work has gone into these.
In my view (and remember this is ONLY my opinion) , they are PERFECTLY suited to an experienced/intermediate Korg PA user, who does not want to bother with programming setups.

Even MORE so for new Korg PA owners, who want something more than "what's in the box".

For me, whilst there were some interesting and possibly useable perf setups, I found the majority did not suit my style or personal preferences.

I also know (again, based on my way of using the PA) I would actually have to go through most and re-program the upper 123 and lower (which I never use).

Please do not take that as a criticism, it is not!!! Your work on these is excellent. Just not for me personally.

What I can recommend is to anyone to at least try these and not dismiss them "out-of-hand", as you might just be pleasantly surprised.

Thank you guys for your overwhelming response and comments so far.
I have been very busy today sending out the BKP files all over the world.!!
I prefer to do it this way so that I can get into personal touch with those who are interested and I also feel they themselves feel more committed to responding to my efforts etc.etc.

I think the wording issue has now been discussed enough and I am looking forward to more in depth analyses like the one Dennis sent me. And of course I hope that most people will not only be convinced of the quality and hard work, but that they can actually use a lot of it for their own benefit, after all that is what all this is about !!!

I agree with you John.

always the same who only complain, this is not good, I don't like that
but they never take the time to make something of there own.

they wait untill someone else thake the effort to do it
and then download as fast as they can. But when someone
is asking for a little payment.........nobody's home......
