KORG X50 VOICE ALTERS ITSELF??

Post by steviedj »

:?

Hi Can anyone help?

On occasions when I have been playing my X50 for a while, the sound alters, as if I have added reverb or something like that. I have to switch it off to get the 'original' sounds back. Sometimes that's enough but sometimes it happens again. I generally use a sound mix I have made but when it goes weird it's as if the piano goes kinda honky tonk.

Anyone else had anything like this happen?

Best wishes
Steve

Sounds like physical vibrations or electrical 'jitters' are causing the 'realtime control' knobs to shoot off values.

Possibly try setting them in a mode which doesn't affect what you are doing, like turning them to C mode where they affect the arpeggiator phrasing (when you're not using the arpeggiator). Or going into the controls page for a program and turning them all to 'off'.
