Started programing Wavestation.

Post by enoho kuri »

I always knew it would be a great synth. But the factory bank is just so polite. And not having any user banks has always put me off investing too much time in developing sounds.

But lately I have decided to bite the bullet. I found the init bank, turned it into a WSRAM file and got busy. After wasting a bit of time making performances with the lot, I've started making just patches. Not only saves me time but I get much more usable sounds as well. Wavestation fills a gap between Massive and Alchemy. I've seen a few people on various fora saying that its too hard to program. And, up to a point, I agree. But I'm finding that its worth persevering with it.

So what I really want to know is if anyone else is getting personal with the interface? And if so, have they got any tips for a newb?
