Brit Stack Specs? (AX1500G)

I've been using Korg for a few years, and have become increasingly interested in the tech specs of pedals, amps, and cabs in my search for tone. Of everything I've tried so far, the AX1500G (I haven't upgraded to the 3000 yet...) Brit Stack drive amp sound is my favorite. What I really want to know is what British amplification that is based off of, and what combo of tubes and chips and wires and all that goes into creating such a clean, clear, crunchy sound great for both heavy and mellow playing. The only thing I've heard that sounds definitively comparable/better is a 100-watt Marshall amp...but they're Marshall, and they're tops for a reason. I'm very intrigued by this "Brit Stack", and want to know more, so any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure most of the 'brit' models are based on the Marshall sound. Marshall are originally a British company.

Good to know! I guess I just can't escape Marshall...But it's like Hetfield and Dime have been known to say, "Everybody uses Marshall, and everyone knows that a 'Paul plugged into a Marshall sounds great." It's hard to find your own unique sound when exactly what you want is what everyone else is using...but that's where playing and style come in, I suppose.
