iMS20 - External input?

Is it possible to bring in external audio into the iMS20, like the original?

Hello Korg! The iMS20 is truly another Korg masterpiece and I'm already in love with it. But could you please add the external input feature sometime soon?

Probably not a Korg issue !

I think Apple would have to add a dedicated hardware line-in for the iPad.

You can already get audio into the iPad. Class compliant USB mics and sound cards already work and several apps can record that input.

So this is a Korg issue. Can you absolutely confirm that iMS 20 does not yet support external audio, or are you simply making your best guess?

Please dont get me wrong - I just wanted to make sure, because I'm very hopeful that the external input will work in the future. I sure dont want to discourage anyone from trying to help.

If Korg does add support for this, you can control the synth with an audio signal, such as a guitar for example.

Don't forget all the guitar input devices like the iRig..... they work great, don't think the iMS-20 supports it tho, I'll have a look later.
