assigning programs/performances to tracks on S1 or S2

I'm trying to use my pa50 with the Sonar 8.0 sequencer, but can't figure out how to assign a voice to a track in the "track select" pages. I can get the assigned voices to change by selecting a program or performance and recording something to a Sonar track, then playing it back, but that seems stupid. There's got to be a direct way to do this on the pa50. Can anyone help?

Ok, select a style that you want, and press EXIT/NO, then go to performance/program, and pick a Voice, After that, click Write to Disk, then window will come up, pick to ST No 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, which ever you want, then click write to disk again, click enter 2 time.

Not really. I'm concerned with assigning voices to the Sequencer, not the Single Touch.
