Monster lead bug

Post by SlipKnoTCraig133 »

On the monster lead preset, I really like the squarish sound it has. And when you press down on the joystick, the frequency goes up to create a thinner, more sawetoothish type sound, resulting in a wah effect. Originally, the patch has that thinner sound to it, and it isn't until you move the joystick down that it generates a more full-sounding square type of sound, and only then can you move the joystick down once more to produce a wah wah effect. My question is: is there a way to make it so that each time I switch to B.14 (Monster Lead), the sound is already in the lower-frequency square-sounding mode so that I don't have to flick the joystick down before I can start playing it the way the program was originally meant to be played?

The above link is a sample of what I'd like the lead sound to sound like each time I jump to B14. I know for a fact that the guy in this song is using monster lead. He even said it on his yt channel.

I have the same issue in one of my leads, but with the M50. If I can figure it out, I'll let you know.
Gear: Korg M50, Korg Monotron, Kurzweil KP-1, Boss FS-5U.
