Those look like rotary enconders with circular leds! Damm! Is that the real thing?

Actually I don't think I saw the final render.....
I hang my head in shame and say I never did do a final render on the entire thing.

I must go back and take another look at what's left to finish off. I don't think there was more to do.

Not sure what the "b" is Ozy. But I can assure you all that I am a woman!

Here is a pic of me to prove it

:-) Best fictional renderer for a rack device, ever :-) Or, should I say - best fictional rack device ever rendered? :-)

Not wishing to spoil the party, but getting back on topic...

There is something that I'd dearly love to see in a keyboard/workstation/synth/whatever... (bear with me on this one) -

Think of an orchestra for a moment. Whilst there are many different sections they very rarely all play together until (usually) a last movement - and even then not continually...

SO - if we take the trumpets as what we call a program, same with cellos, piccolos, harp, etc, when we put them together we get what we call a combi.

Now the thing is, they don't all play together all the time! What I'd like is an 'Orch' button to go along with Combi and Prog. The difference is time... (Kronos? )... With that Orch button, we could change the combi over time (without using zones or Karma), so that say, for the first 40 bars I have just strings, then without adjusting anything when performing, it changes to strings and brass, then 20 bars later strings and harp, etc - see what I mean?

That for me would be nirvana, perfection, heaven, whatever you want to call it.

Please Korg; you've got a day or so, quickly build it in, just for me? Thank you! 8)

Are you thinking that all the different instruments would be playing the same part? Cause they don't often do that in an orchestra. If you're imaging that the keyboard would play something different. For example, add some slow strings over your piano part but the keyboard makes it up for you, and it goes with what you're playing. Then that would amaze me!

Doesn't KARMA do that? You could probably build a GE

Absolutely right, Pp! They don't always play the same part, however with the keyboard you can be selective about what you play - I accept that zones play a part (no pun intended), however if say you are playing a Mahler type piece the strings play continuo albeit sostenuto - or divertimenti as per Tchaik or Dvorak, then the harp or the flute will float over the top (wonderful!). So if we could program the 'combi' to have a time component so that it introduces, or removes, an instrument (a program), that would be ace - for me anyway! I'm probably a minority of one, but hey, I can dream.

To me it's the one thing that's missing - like you agree, no orchestra plays the same part, or sound continually - so the one thing missin for me is to change a combi over time - load it with say, 16 sounds (programs) but they 'sound' at different points in time 8)

I guess it MIGHT be possible with Karma but

a) am not expert with Karma although I've bought the software

b) not sure Karma can extend to say 100 bars then change for next 40 bars then change for another 80, etc

c) maybe Stephen Kay can enlighten...

d) would be so much easier with an 'orch' button
