Now it's E-E.
On the other side, at least its a weighted keybed and the weight is acceptable at just under 20kg.

True but at least you can record directly to a DAW / PC I guess Korg supposes we end up mastering final versions on our computers?sani wrote:Just one thing. What about the 76key version? Am I blind, crazy or thas that again end on the "wrong" key? I see E as the last upper key?

Oh, and I see things which I already don't like at all.
So, Korg still limits the Ram to a ridiculous level if the specs are right. It seems that those sampled stuff from Korg (EX) is loaded into the only available ram and after you load all, there is only about 200 Mb left for own samples, sample libraries. That's silly.
More SSD sampling space would have been real icing on this cake.
Well, I guess we probably think about different things. Those with recording and sequencing in mind will probably not complain.
I'm more interested in what I can do live with the keyboard. For sequencing, arranging I use software and no workstation will change that.
On the other side, If I load all those provided sounds/samples from Korg, I'm limited to some crappy 200 Mb Ram. Load some akai samples here and there, some song intros in wave and gone is the memory.
In that case, a 32 or 320 Gb SSD means absolutely nothing to me.
At least, in that regard Korg should have catch up. They offered the smallest RAm on the M3, and now they do it again.

I'm really excited about the Kronos. It's like the Trinity all over again, with its extra options and synth engines (PCM, MOSS, HDR, Sampler, etc.).
It all depends on the price.
Looking forward to the video demos.

A bit offtopic.... Am I being delusional or does that font look a lot like Yamaha's font on Motifs?

My first thought was it looked like a Roland RS6 synth from a decade or so ago case-wise.
Spec looks like an OASYS design as well - if there is indeed some compatability between the two would be interesting.
If the price is really low, not sure how I'm gonna feel, as it will then seem like an updated OASYS, since as the O has no development path, the Kronos looks like that O in a new box.
Just my ten cents...

I think all the OASYS owners here agree with you... ! The ones that post anyway.fallingman wrote:My first thought was it looked like a Roland RS6 synth from a decade or so ago case-wise.
