Any news on whether the file system has changed; i.e SETS?

Post by kbrkr »

Has anyone heard of any changes to the Korg PA file system eliminating the need for SETS for the styles and going to a regular .STY file format?

Hi kbrkr, the filing system appears to be virtually the same but we will have 1200 slots for styles. I would have liked to see the ability to review styles from usb and not have to load them into the User Banks. Lots of spaces but I could fill those very easily with Custom named styles that I like to use. You would still need to leave a Bank free to review anything new. I guess we can't have everything. :)

Hold on guys...just because styles and sounds have compatability does not mean the file system is the same....being a programmer...I can see it that way.

It'sall a simple matter of programming.

All of his will come ou soon.

As much as we complained about this issue...do you think they didn't address it?? I think they did.
