MAC File Locations

Can anyone tell me where on a Snow Leopard Mac I should save .fxb files for the M1 and WaveStation so that they are opened up *by default* on starting the synths? To save me having to manually load in a config file?

I'm on PC, same behaviour.
I think this is not possible.

I keep all mine in the Presets folder within the the Korg Legacy folder, where all the apps are.

I on OSX 10.6.5 and have never had any problems.

If you want to make a particular bank your default bank you need to click on the name of the synth on the GUI (eg. KORG Polysix - I only have the analogue edition, but I'm assuming the digital edition works much the same) which will open a dialogue box, and towards the bottom you will have an option to save that particular bank as your default.

@reddog - Have tried that in the M1 app - what I did was just change the name of a perfomrance in the User1 card - write it to the bank, do your 'Make current all data default' option off the File menu, stop the application, reopen it, and my renamed performance in User1 is *not* there.

Where on the Mac are the defaults stored? Simple question.

As I said in the first sentence of my previous message - in the Presets folder within the the Korg Legacy folder, where all the apps are - Applications/Korg Legacy/Presets.

@reddog - Indeed you did, and indeed that does seem to work... with the gotcha (I've found) that not only do you have to *save* the .fxb file to that location, but to get the M1 and WaveStation to reload the exact file on opening, you have to load it into the programs at least once before. It looks like the programs 'remember' the last *loaded* file, regardless of its location.

BTW - there are also locations for .fxb files in

//[HardDisk]/Library/Application Support/KORG/M1 or WAVESTATION
//[HardDisk]/Library/Audio/Presets/KORG/M1 or WAVESTATION
//[HardDisk]/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/KORG/M1 or WAVESTATION

So that's why I asked where the default location was - there's a choice of 4.
