Can PK play (note on) multiple note numbers with one pad

Post by Clearwater2 »

Hi all. I need help desperately. I need to know if I can have one pad on my padkontrol play (turn note on) multiple notes at the same time on the same midi channel. The purpose: I want to hook my padkontrol up to my sp404 midi in and be able to trigger multiple samples from various banks with one pad. I read somewhere that this is possible. Please tell me how I can do this. Do I have to use the editor/librarian? Thanks in advance troops.

Bump bump. See a lot of views nobody answering yet. Nobody knows or you're keeping it to yourself? Do I have to use the padeditor librarian?

It looks like you and I are asking a similar question.
My header reads "Need a CHORD Trigger function (more than 1 note per pad/key)" If you get a chance, read my post because I am on a mission about this subject.

sorry guys you can't. rob sherratt posted over at karma-labs the following:
"..the pads on the PadKontrol are single note pads and cannot generate chords like the pads on the M3. The nanoPad is more suitable in one way because you can assign chords to its pads "

http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15852

this was talking about connectivity with the M3, but i think the premise is still the same

now there is native mode with the padkontrol that opens up a lot of oppurtunites, but im not sure about all that stuff

Thanks Marty McFly. I was really hoping I could do it. If I could, omg . But to enter native mode, do I have to start eating bananas, swing from vines, find a lost traveler named Jane, make friends with animals, and beat on congo drums in my spare time? Because I am practicing my drums skills on the samplers and pk you know.
