Sorry if this has been answered before, but I searched and couldn't find the answer.
Bought the tr 76 recently and I need it for live playing, and during that I switch between 8-9 tones usually [ and probably more to come ]
I really need to switch fast so I read the manual and it seems like the 10's Hold function was the way to go. But the description of how to use it is very cryptic, how do you save an order in it more exactly?
In fact it is very simple.
Chose 10 sounds.
Place them in desired order from A000 - 1010 (A000,A001,A002....)
Now you have your sounds in line from 1 to 10.
When you press twice "./hold" button, "10'shold" will appear on screen.
Now, If you want to use sound A002, you just need to pres "2" not "002".
It gives you one touch easy sound switch

Thank you very much, the instruction manual doesn't explicitly say you need to put the sounds into the A bank in order.
10's hold simply 'holds' the first two digits of the patch number, allowing you to press a single number to change to another patch.
How you arrange (or do not arrange) your patches is up to you. You'll find in the manuals Korg does not presume to know exactly what you want to do with the keyboard specifically. Instead they provide you with the tools and tell you how they work. What you do with it is up to you.

X-Trade has given you one way (actually probably the best) to customize your board for live play.
Just be aware trhat when you change/store voices at the program level it DOES effect your combi banks. The individual Program is at the mid level of sound production, there is a level above - Combi.
If your combi's are looking to (in this case) a-000 throu a-010 for a particular sound (i.e. strings), substituting a different sound (i.e., piano) at the program level also puts it in the combi (or several combis) - whether you intended to or not.
Storing a 0-10 set of gig Combis might make more sense, and any 10 in any bank will do, you just have to remember where they are.
