I have a few samplesets I've purchased over the years of samples emulating rom, my latest purchase's have been from the AIR users blog, with the new digi stuff is excellent. In my humble opinion though I'd like the real stuff from Korg. No one can make a better triton plugin or sample set other then Korg.
I'd want a rom version myself.

I think that a decent Prophecy, and Z1 emulaion are much more important than a Triton one.
These 2 powerful synths with a proper programming interface on computer would be really good.

After those may come Trident, Sigma and MS2000

I don't really "get" the need for a software Prophecy, Z1, when these are essentially virtual analogs and won't sound as good as their hardware versions anyway (then again, you could argue this goes with all AU/VST instruments that emulate their hardware counterparts...). If you want those, you can find both pretty easily in their "keyboard versions" on eBay. Granted, you might have to pay a few more $$ than you might have to for a software package, but not necessarily.

A KLC-Triton with the ability to load all the patches floating around the internet would be nice, I'll give you that.

It would also be pretty cool to do what you can do with the LAC-1 EXi, without owning an OASYS.

Whoa, just seen some PS-3100 and 3200 vids, they're great too.
I just hope that eventually, most of the Korg synths will be a part of the legacy collection, for financial, archival and (mostly) sound reasons.
As Tweak said about the MS-20: "over 92% of the original sound is there". It's enough for me, and I like the additions what the Legacy can bring.

To argue: I'd say that virtual analogs can be ported to vst 100% as they are Digital.
Unlike Analog stuff.

Also, there is already a PolySix and MS-20, in the Analog Edition... So I really don't know how to understand you :)

Rather than starting a new thread, I found this old one...

I'd love to see Korg do a Legacy Prophecy...

It was an instrument that was perhaps ahead of its time. You can find them on eBay, but they're not cheap. I'd gladly pay $50 to $100 USD for a virtual version.

An enhanced Wavestation would be my other vote. I own an original EX, but I'm disappointed that the plugin doesn't raise the polyphony or offer a more powerful filter. I say take the original concept and build upon it with new sample sets (or the ability to import WAV files), a new filter set, and fewer constraints on wave sequence steps, etc.

The W/S still has a very unique sound and a very unique approach to synthesis, but it needs some new horsepower.
