nanoKONTROL problem

I am having a problem using nanoKONTROL with Live 8. When I map a button to activate/mute a track, it will mute the track just fine but it will only keep the track active after that if I hold the button down.

I am having the same problem with mappipng the record button to global record. I have pulled up the editor and made sure that these buttons are set to toggle and not momentary.

What am I doing wrong? The buttons work just fine when soloing tracks...knobs and sliders work fine...I just can't seem to figure out what's going on.
