Hello,
Anybody know how to do this? :
I have a Korg M50 and Korg Microsampler. I want to record on the m50 sequencer both sounds from both keyboards.
In example...let's say 4 internal sounds from the M50 on tracks 1-4 and then 3 or 4 external sounds on tracks 5 thru 8.
I conected midi out from m50 to sampler's midi in. i assigned the same channels...but for some reason, i cannot get it to sound. i monitor thru the m50 on headphones and nothing. but when i monitor on the sampler..i hear the sampler sounds as i play the m50. but i cannot get the sampler sound to record.
Can anyone please offer some tips? If possible a step by step indication would be nice. I would greatly appreciate it.

you should monitor it with some kind of mixer!
sounds from microsampler won't sound through midi on m50, but m50 will trigger notes to sound through microsampler's output)
and when you will complete the song in sequncer, you can play it and channels assigned for sampler will send midi to trigger notes, that you can hear from micro, or from both with programs, that you assigned to channels 5-8 on m50.
