problem with midi-mapping in Ableton Live- Nanokontrol

Post by afritsstirf »

Hi,

I have the following problem with the assignment of MIDI commands in Ableton Live (DAW)
Some midi-commands are okay; others pose a problem

1. button 'follow': problem
2. Button 'play': okay
3 button 'stop': okay
4 button 'record': problem
5 knob: 'pan': okay
6 button 'track selector (speaker)': problem
7 button 'solo': okay
8 slider 'volume': okay

eg 6: button track selector
when I press it, the button lights (also in Ableton), but it is not switched on (it goes out when I release). I think it has to do with the options below the screen: absolute / relative / ... (10 options)?

The buttons that do work are all with the default option: "absolute".
For example, for button 6, I tried all options but it won't work

Anybody have an explanation ?

thanks in advance
