Awesome forum, donated.

EDIT 1: Agree with those who say that putting up the total cost for running the site would be great Sharp.

EDIT 2: Hedegaard: there are reasons other than vanity for posting that you have donated, for instance it might inspire others to do so aswell. Besides it's none of your business if people want to write it in this thread, in their sigs or wherever. The important part is that they actually donate.

+1 especially for those who are not sure if to donate or not it might be a good thing to see what is going on.

not to mention:

it beats all the time writing a post just for the sake of saying "I am here and I judge you people to be vain",

Sharp,
Just seen the request and very pleased to help. I think you have one of THE most respected gear-oriented forums on the planet.
Cheers.
iix.

PS - Thanks Mike Molloy for your help with my M3 (ARM CPU Catched issues and flaking button paint). The Korg UK service was great then... (haven't needed them since though).
CURRENT GEAR: A yellowing Casio PT-80, 4 leaking batteries and some broken headphones.
WISHLIST: A PSU and some different headphones.

Thanks for your support guys. I'll let this run a little longer and then I'll pull the link.

Regards
Sharp.

Wait for the tax returns to come in. Mine is snail mailed, could be another couple months before the good ole US IRS finishes it.

Regarding EDIT 2: I suppose that could be a legit reason, i.e. to inspire others to donate as well.
Of course its none of my business, people can write what they want :)

I suppose I stand corrected, therefore:

Done!
(Now I'm as vain as the rest of you ;) )
.....Still waiting for the allusive, missing EXf for Oasys.....

why?

let the cash flow in on a voluntary basis... so that this will never be an issue again.

Whoever steps in will just know that he may help keeping all this running with no stress for you.

In case you get too much money, buy a kronos and choose the winner by putting the names in a hat and having an innocent kid pick one out.

No chance of that happening.
The number of people who have shown their support is extremely small considering the number of members we have. I knew this would happen too. Thats why in the future this site needs to sustain itself.

I agree with Ozy - I would keep the link up.
I have just joined, having spent a bit of time appreciating the deep expertise and value of this forum as a lurker. This forum was key in my deciding to place a pre-order for a Kronos and I am very glad you left a way for me to support in some small way this community.
