My TR61 is almost 4 years old now, and has had heavy use, both live, and in the studio, I just can't say enough about this synth, it's been awesome!

taven, i have TR61 for several years now and i can confirm that i'm experiencing the same screen behavior. The screen itself is working fine, so i think it is ok..taven wrote:anyone has event that when the tr61 turned off the display dispersedly going off ( the display is being wiped slowly ) - i wonder this is normal or not-

taven, i don't know exactly, but LCD matrices are somewhat inertious (especially cheap and old ones like in TR) and sometimes can produce visible transitions, so this is probably normal.
Also, i remember that when i powered TR in low temperature (5-10 C) the screen behaved bad and contrast was too low to see anything. But after temperature normalized it was back ok. So if your screen is readable don't try to fix it - it is not broken
TR is a really reliable synth. My was kicked hard by corners, jumped without a case in my car on a trip, hammered with my intensive "playing" in the cold open-air (and light rain), worked with 175V undervoltage and it is still fully functional!!
I doubt that my M50 will sustain such beating so long...

Generally with Korg keyboards, they dont just need 'cleaning' they need to be replaced. Im pretty sure the TR uses the same buttons on the LE or any other triton, so you will need this

You will have to completely take apart the board and re solder all that stuff, assuming you can solder in the first place.
Cleaning will probably do you nothing unfortunately :/
Believe me, ive been in the same place.
