using split key timbres

how do i get two complete different sounds on a split key when using both timbres?

It helps to use the software editor to see how it works. Its very easy to use timbre1 for the left side and timbre2 for the right, and the editor lets you drag and drop timbres between programs. It takes maybe 15 seconds to do a split, once you see how to do it in the editor.
