wave samples use in the triton le.

Post by filou »

hi everybody i am planning to buy myself a triton le soon. i have on dvd thousands of samples from motif and fantom in wave format . would i be able to load them with my smart media card and play them right away on the triton le keyboard like the internal sounds or is it more complicated than that ? thanks for your help.

Hi,

yes, it is more complicated.

The original Triton Le does not have sample RAM but with the optional EXB-SMPL sampling board or just up to 64 MB optional sample RAM you can load the Samples into the memory (temporarily! The samples will be gone when you switch off the Le).

From the samples you loaded into the sample RAM you have to create (and store) sound programmes. Using these programmes will play your samples.
