Is there a way to get audio out from the iPad from the dock?

I dont want to have to resort from pulling audio out from the headphone jack. The reason for this is the sound quality is better from the dock connector because it bypasses the volume amplifier and sends a unity gain signal.

Does anyone know whatsup?

Most of the speaker docks and stereo connectors use this. A quick Google search reveals quite a few options.
