The Zurna is in the Woodwinds on my PA500. You could also try the Shanai.

Just looked and there are two on the PA800 in the Woodwinds ... Zurna1 and Zurna2.

Like Thorald already said, these two sounds can be found in the woodwind section. They're part of factory sounds. To be exact look up wind section Page 7.

Hi, try "Edi Zurna"
http://www.zshare.net/download/8855502490676a43/
in key A.
It's one of the most popular and best sounding Zurna Sample (e.g. for halay).

You can also try this sample: http://www.zshare.net/download/88554896c0f45239/
in key A
Sounds also very well.

Another sample: http://www.zshare.net/download/883850863fdd762c/
in key C# (+3/-3)

Arabesk Zurna: http://www.zshare.net/download/88554980b1c641e9/
in key A (+2/-2)

What do you mean by "in the key of A"? Does that mean you can't use it to play in a different key?

The sampled Zurna was a Zurna in key A. Every single sample was sampled with special "technics"/in a special way. (not just blow in the instrument)

You can use this sample in another key, but you have to edit the sound in SOUNDMODE.

E.g. for playing in key G:
- transpose: +2
- tune: -200
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQIW0G_EGsI

key C:
- transpose: -3
- tune: +300
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWXH2KSPSkY

On stage with a good PA this Zurna sounds very powerful. When I first heard it I was blown away by the quality.

# It's the same Zurna you can find in EMO-USB.

I see. So in order to use this sound chromatically, you will need to resave the same sound in sound mode multiple times with different settings to make it suitable for instant use in different keys. Otherwise, if you change keys during performance, you'll have to manually adjust it each time, right?

Right!

# The guy who sampled this Zurna also made many loops in different tempos.
edizurna_la_95_.rar - 4.21MB
edizurna_la_120_.rar - 1.48MB
edizurna_la_140_.rar - 0.85MB
edizurna_la_uzun_hava_.rar - 2.75MB
edizurna_la_110_6-8_.rar - 3.26MB

So if you're lazy you can use these loops. :)
