Hello people,
I just got a Radias Rack unit, for $400 us I think I got a good deal. The unit came with power supply and vocoder mic, no manual though no biggie since I downloaded on from Korg website. So once I got the unit home I proceeded to check the firmware version on it, it had version 1.04. Downloaded the 2.0 firmware upgrade wich has instructions to install the USB driver first, I did. I thought that was all and ready to proceed to firmware upgrade, well it wasn't upgrading I was getting errors that no Korg Radias device was installed. The problem as it turns out is that you have to actually run the USB device driver once it is installed and specify for it to in essence re-install it from within the program. Once I did that, the upgrade procedure worked great! I now have a 2.0 firmware Radias, I love the sounds on this thing, the light show it produces kinda hypnotises you also hahaha! Just wanted to post this so anybodye else who just got a Radias woulnt have to go thru what I did.
Cheers!
Radias Firmware Update Procedure Clarification

I am having a similiar problem.....
I am trying this with both an iMac and Macbook pro with frustrating results in both cases.
The updater cannot find the Radias.
Logic sees the midi data fine from the Radias using the Korg USB Midi driver so I know that the basic communications are working.
Yet the Sound Editor does not see the Radias.
The MIDI monitor Window in the Sound Editor is blank when I play the KBD. The sound editor software is very crude IMHO. Korg could have done a better job.
The "Preferences" menu comes up with "Not use in MIDI IN device" selected in the "MIDI IN", "MIDI OUT" and "Note MIDI IN" drop down tools.
I changed them to select the Korg USB Midi driver but still no luck.
Incedently, Logic Pro on both the iMac and Macbook worked right off the bat without any changes even though they were previously setup to work with the UNO USB Midi driver.
This should not be that difficult.
I wil try a Windows system next.
Any help will be apprecieated.

Another bit of information.
On Macs, there is a diagnostic that graphically shows all installed Audio/Midi drivers.
Doing a "TestDevice" mode, when a Key is pressed on a Midi Keyboard,
the corresponding Driver "Beeps" if it sees the Key note being played.
The Uno Midi to USB Driver that is looking at my Korg Oasys Synth (wired to the iMac via MIDI cables) beeps when I press a Key on the Oasys.
Now the Radias, is wired directly via USB cable. When I press a key on the Radias, the correspondin Radias USB Driver does not see the key and consequently does not Beep.
